About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare to patients, following standards, policies, and protocols.
- Carry out a range of clinical and non-clinical healthcare or therapeutic tasks, under the direct or indirect supervision of registered healthcare practitioners.
- Help maintain a clean and safe ward environment.
- Work towards the on-programme requirements of the Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship Standard.
- Develop and maintain high clinical standards in line with the Code of Conduct for Healthcare Support Workers.
Person Specification
Essential
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A-C (9-3) including English and Maths.
- Previous health or social care experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
