About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Senior Healthcare Support Worker. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate healthcare to patients, following established standards, policies, and protocols.
- Carry out a range of clinical and non-clinical healthcare or therapeutic tasks, under the direct or indirect supervision of registered healthcare practitioners.
- Maintain a clean and safe ward environment, adhering to high clinical standards.
- Work towards the on-programme requirements of the Senior Healthcare Support Worker Apprenticeship Standard.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Participate in structured teaching and learning sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
Person Specification
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs grade A-C (9-3), including English and Maths.
- Previous health or social care experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
