Head of Legal Corporate Governance

Sacco Mann is pleased to be assisting in the recruitment of a Head of Legal Corporate Governance in partnership with a leading digital retailer in the UK and Ireland. We have a long-standing relationship with the in-house legal department, which remains a critical function to the success of the entire group.

The Head of Legal will report into the Group Legal Director and focus on ensuring all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements across Retail, Operations, IT, Financial Services, and the wider Group are met. This will involve acting as a point of contact for the Board and Committees, requiring a strong understanding of regulatory rules.

This is a key appointment, requiring exceptional relationship building, communication, influencing, and leadership skills. In return, you can expect a highly competitive salary and benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure statutory and regulatory reporting requirements are met
  • Act as a point of contact for the Board and Committees
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Provide strategic guidance on corporate governance matters

Requirements:

  • UK qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE
  • Strong understanding of regulatory rules and corporate governance
  • Exceptional relationship building, communication, influencing, and leadership skills
