Sacco Mann is delighted to be assisting in the recruitment of a Head of Legal Corporate Governance in partnership with a leading digital retailer in the UK and Ireland.

We have a longstanding relationship with the In-house legal department, which remains a pivotal and integral function to the working and success of the entire group.

There now exists a new vacancy for a UK qualified solicitor to head up a newly created function, based out of a major retail hub with hybrid working on offer.

  1. Reporting into the Group Legal Director.
  2. Ensuring all statutory and regulatory reporting requirements across Retail, Operations, IT, Financial Services, and the wider Group are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing strategic leadership and guidance on corporate governance matters.
  2. Developing and implementing effective governance frameworks and policies.
  3. Collaborating with senior stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

  1. UK qualified solicitor with a minimum of 6 years PQE in corporate governance or general experience in corporate law.
  2. Strong understanding of regulatory rules and frameworks.

This is a key appointment that requires exceptional relationship building, communication, influencing, and leadership skills.
