Job Title: Specialist Podiatrist

NHS Ayrshire and Arran is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services, and we are seeking an experienced Specialist Podiatrist to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated Podiatrist to contribute to the delivery and development of Podiatry Services and High-Risk Diabetes Care. You will work collaboratively with our dynamic and supportive team to assess, manage, and develop wound care, vascular assessment, and new patient clinics, including nail surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the delivery and development of Podiatry Services and High-Risk Diabetes Care
  • Work collaboratively with the team to assess, manage, and develop wound care, vascular assessment, and new patient clinics
  • Develop and implement new patient clinics and nail surgery
  • Rotate through MDTs for diabetes complex case clinics
  • Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration and B.Sc. (or D.Pod.M) in Podiatric Medicine or equivalent
  • Local Analgesia Certificate
  • Extensive experience within a variety of clinical specialties
  • Evidence of further development of competencies and ability to be an autonomous practitioner
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing needs
Working Hours:

37 hours per week

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

UK Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role
