Job Title: Specialist Podiatrist

NHS Ayrshire and Arran is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services to the community. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Specialist Podiatrist to join our team.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Podiatrist to contribute to the delivery and development of Podiatry Services and High Risk Diabetes Care. You will work in a dynamic and supportive team, assessing, managing, and developing wound care, vascular assessment, and contributing to the delivery of new patient clinics and nail surgery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage patients with complex foot conditions
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development of new patient clinics and nail surgery services
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality care
  • Participate in research and development initiatives to improve patient care
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration and B.Sc. (or D.Pod.M) in Podiatric Medicine or equivalent
  • Local Analgesia Certificate
  • Extensive experience in a variety of clinical specialties
  • Evidence of further development of competencies and ability to be an autonomous practitioner
  • Ability to work flexibly and respond to changing needs
Working Hours:

37 hours per week

UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership:

UK Car licence/Car ownership is essential to this role
