Shire Healthcare is a leading provider of children’s services, committed to delivering high-quality care and support to vulnerable young people. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to join our team in Kettering, Northamptonshire.

Job Details

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm. The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, plus bonuses for outstanding performance. The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a manager in a children’s residential home or family assessment centre.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Care Planning: Develop and implement individual care plans that address the unique needs of each child.
  2. Team Leadership: Appoint and manage Key Workers who will provide ongoing support to children and families.
  3. Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure effective support is provided.
  4. Financial Management: Manage budgets effectively and maintain accurate financial records.
  5. Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with statutory and procedural frameworks and communicate this knowledge to the team.
