About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team at VolkerWessels UK Ltd. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in delivering a customer-focused, effective, and efficient HR service to our employees and managers.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide day-to-day tactical advice and support on all aspects of the employee lifecycle and employee relations matters. You will work closely with our Head of HR and the wider HR team to deliver business-related projects and strategic HR Transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert HR advice and guidance to employees and managers on employment law, best practice HR policy, and procedures.
  • Develop and implement effective resourcing and workforce planning strategies to meet business needs.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and casework, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to design and deliver HR-related projects and initiatives that drive business outcomes.
  • Conduct data analysis and reporting to inform HR-related decisions and business strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, including senior leaders, managers, and employees.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as an HR practitioner, with a strong understanding of employment law and best practice HR policy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications in HR, such as CIPD or SHRM.
