Senior HR Advisor Vacancy

Hoddesdon, Herts, Office Based

A fantastic opportunity to work with our expanding SME in the industrial sector. The role is a standalone position and will report into the SLT. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on experienced HR generalist. This role would suit an experienced HR professional who is already at a senior level or a HR Advisor looking to expand their career.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support the business vision and operational goals.
  • Provide monthly HR reports to the Directors to inform better decision-making.
  • Design a resourcing, recruitment, and onboarding strategy to attract and retain high-quality employees.
  • Foster a work climate where employees feel they can learn, grow, and feel happy.
  • Work with the Directors to agree and drive through a reward and recognition strategy, including benchmarking of salaries.
  • Coach and develop managers to focus on continuous improvement and company profitability.
  • Manage Employee Relations within the group effectively.
  • Administer new starters, including adding to payroll.
  • Administer leavers, including producing P45's.
  • Process annual leave, sickness, and all other absence correctly.
Person Specification
  • Commercial awareness with proven management skills.
  • Hands-on with a can-do attitude.
  • Confident to challenge ideas, using positive influencing skills.
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills to develop and motivate people.
  • A solution provider who is good at generating new ideas and confident at dealing with people at all levels.
  • Previous experience of TUPE would be an advantage.

This role would suit an experienced HR professional who is already at a senior level or a HR Advisor looking to expand their career. The role is 40 hours per week. In return, you will receive a salary of between £40,000-£50,000.
