We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Learning Mentor to join our alternative education community in Northampton. As an Education Specialist, you will play a key role in fostering a love for learning and supporting students who require additional care.

At The Progress Group, we provide a nurturing environment for approximately 35 pupils on roll. This is an excellent opportunity for you to make a real difference in the lives of our students.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Core Teaching Qualifications: Teaching Qualification in (QTS/QTLS) or be willing to work towards it.
  • Academic Background: Degree in a Relevant Teaching Subject, equivalent for SEN (desirable).
  • Special Education and SEN Expertise: SENCO Advanced Certificate (Desirable), Patoss AAA Course Completion (Desirable).
  • Teaching Subjects: English, Maths, and Science Proficiency, a minimum of grade 4/C or higher.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications. Salary: £40,000 - £60,000 per annum.
