About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Behaviour Mentor. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff to provide additional support to pupils who require assistance in overcoming barriers to learning.

Job Description:

  • Provide emotional and academic support to children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
  • Assist pupils with special or medical needs, challenging behavior, and those with a statement of special educational needs.
  • Prioritize pupils who need the most help, especially those experiencing multiple disadvantages.

Requirements:

  • Qualification in Level 2 or 3 in childcare or Health and Social Care.
  • Experience working with children or within the care sector, preferably for three years.
  • Ability to work in an education-based setting but with a wider remit including working with families and the community.

Salary and Benefits:

The annual salary for this position is estimated to be between £22,000.00 and £23,000.00 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to the salary, the school offers paid holiday leave and training opportunities.
