Teaching Science in a Secondary Academy

This is an exciting opportunity to promote a love of learning for Science in a welcoming mainstream secondary academy with a positive and forward-thinking ethos.

We are seeking a dedicated Science teacher who can deliver Science to Key Stage 3 students in a full class teaching role, involving planning and marking. The successful candidate will have experience delivering Science to KS3 students and relevant teaching qualifications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • To promote a love of learning for Science among Key Stage 3 students.
  • To plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all students.
  • To mark and assess student work to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of recent experience teaching Science at KS3 level.
  • Relevant teaching qualifications or experience.
  • An enthusiasm for teaching Science and promoting student progress.

Salary Information:

The salary for this role is estimated to be £175 per day, depending on experience.
