Payroll and Reconciliations Coordinator

We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Administrator to join our payroll team at West Northamptonshire Council. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. As a Senior Payroll Administrator, you will be responsible for administering payrolls across multiple clients, including pensions payrolls. Your tasks will range from data inputting, calculation and input of parental leave, through to running payroll processes, exception reporting, conducting agreed checks, and running BACS files, payslip files and RTI processes. Previous experience in a high-volume payroll setting is essential, along with proven customer service skills. A payroll-related qualification is highly desirable, but not essential. You will work closely with our small, hard-working payroll team to deliver exceptional results.
