About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in leading people and culture functions in a fast-paced SaaS business. You will be responsible for defining and leading a best-in-class Employee Experience, owning the people budget, and managing change to ensure a seamless transition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic People Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a people strategy aligned to business goals
    • Lead, grow, and develop the people team
    • Own the people budget and ensure effective use of investment
    • Define Employee Experience and develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs that deliver on it
  • Talent Acquisition and Management:
    • Oversee the talent acquisition function
    • Implement strategies for attracting and retaining exceptional people
    • Oversee a hiring process that ensures new starters meet the core needs of the business
  • Employee Engagement and Development:
    • Lead the design and implementation of development and training programs
    • Foster career growth and advancement opportunities
    • Measure employee engagement to facilitate continual optimization
  • Performance Management:
    • Establish a consistent and effective performance evaluation process
    • Drive a culture of continuous feedback and performance improvement
    • Implement a rewards and recognition program that aligns with company values
  • Compensation and Benefits:
    • Implement a pay review process in line with company values
    • Design salary benchmarking, compensation programs, and benefits
    • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI):
    • Champion DEI initiatives and integrate them into all functions
    • Develop and track metrics to measure DEI progress and impact
    • Promote a culture of belonging and fairness for all employees
  • Employee Relations and Compliance:
    • Promote effective employee relations and conflict resolution
    • Ensure HR policies and practices are in compliance with relevant labor laws
    • Address employee concerns and provide guidance on HR-related matters

Requirements

  • Extensive people and culture leadership experience in a fast-moving SaaS business
  • Ability to define and lead a best-in-class Employee Experience
  • Expert communicator with proven experience leading internal communications through change
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop those skills in others
  • Experience in building and owning people strategies from the ground up and right-sizing for our stage of growth

What We Offer

  • Part-time role (3 days a week)
