Childhood Development Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Early Years practitioner to join our team as an Early Years Lead Officer. This role involves providing additional support to children who need it most in Fife, working towards closing the attainment gap. You will also support 52-week settings across a locality during holiday periods.

Qualifications and Registration Requirements- You must hold one of the following qualifications: HNC Childhood Practice or SVQ Level 3 Social Services, Children and Young People.
- An SCQF level 9 qualification, such as a Degree or equivalent, is required within the first period of registration.
- Registration with the SSSC at manager level is required within 6 months of taking up employment.
- You should have a working knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence and child development from birth to 5 years.
- High levels of interpersonal skills and abilities are necessary to work effectively as part of a team.
Prior to appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland.
