Job Summary

The Senior Care Assistant will play a key role in delivering high-quality care and support to our residents at a Barchester care home. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and social care, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate approach to caring for others.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supervising and inspiring a team of Care Assistants
  • Supporting the clinical team in specific areas such as medication and care reviews
  • Ensuring that all residents receive individualised care and support

To be successful in this role, you should have an NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care and specific knowledge of clinical care for the elderly. You must also be willing to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Competitive salary: £24,500 - £28,500 per annum. Plus benefits package including free training and development, wellbeing and support tools, and retail discounts.
