About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Service Coordinator to join our team at Cumbria Health. As a key member of our out-of-hours service, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients and professionals alike.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to manage multiple calls simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. You will also be confident in using various computer systems to record patient details and maintain accurate records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal with calls from the public/health professionals in a prompt and professional manner
  • Co-ordinate information from incoming calls to alert necessary medical personnel/services to meet patient needs
  • Follow advice/guidance and requests from Supervisor on shift to ensure smooth running of service across county
  • Follow in-house protocols/procedures to match patient symptoms/criteria with available services
Requirements
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Experience of working with various systems
  • Confidence in adapting to new systems
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including exceptional telephone manner
  • Closely attention to detail and ability to log information accurately and in timely manner
