MPOWIR is offering a unique opportunity for a talented Research Associate to join our team at the University of Cambridge. As a member of the Ocean Dynamics group, you will be involved in a cutting-edge project that uses numerical simulations to study the interactions between submesoscales, near-inertial oscillations, and boundary layer turbulence.

This is a fantastic chance to work on a high-profile project with a renowned team of researchers. The successful candidate will need to have a PhD in a relevant field and experience in running numerical simulations.

As a Research Associate, you will be responsible for planning and managing your own research, as well as contributing to the development of student research skills. We encourage applications from women and/or candidates from a BME background, as they are currently under-represented in our Department.

The estimated salary for this position is around £38,000-£45,000 per annum.
