Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and patient Teaching Assistant to support a child with Autism in a mainstream school in Harrow. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with special needs and be able to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the child with Autism in a mainstream school setting
  • Provide individualized support to the child as needed
  • Collaborate with the SENCO and other staff members to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist with lesson planning and implementation
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with special needs
  • Patience and understanding
  • Ability to focus on the job at hand
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Experience working in the UK
