Job Title: Special Needs Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Needs Assistant to join our team at a mainstream school in Harrow. The successful candidate will work closely with a child with Autism in Year 4, providing support and assistance to ensure their academic and personal success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to the student with Autism, adapting to their unique needs and requirements.
  • Assist the student with daily tasks, such as organization, time management, and communication.
  • Collaborate with the teaching staff and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans.
  • Monitor and report on the student's progress, providing regular updates to the teaching staff and parents.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with students with special needs, preferably Autism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Right to work in the UK.
