Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

About the Role

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician at ENGINEERINGUK, you will play a crucial part in maintaining and optimizing technologies in our Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. Your focus will be on planned preventative maintenance, mitigating risks by proactively addressing and resolving issues, and raising the availability and quality of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure health & safety best practices are followed in all work carried out, adhering to all health & safety standards and regulations.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment within the site.
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve the issue.
  • Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
  • Manage contractors effectively.


Requirements

  • Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent (must hold Level 3 qualification with satisfactory Guided Learning Hours).
  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
  • Ability to interpret both mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Experience in fault finding on building equipment, including HVAC, Dock Doors, plumbing, and general building maintenance tasks.
