Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

About the Role

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician at ENGINEERINGUK, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing technologies in our Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. Your primary focus will be on planned preventative maintenance, mitigating risks by proactively addressing and resolving issues. Your daily goal will be to raise the availability and quality of the equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure health & safety best practices are followed in all work carried out, adhering to all health & safety standards and regulations.
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment within the site.
  • Respond quickly to breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve the issue.
  • Support and learn from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians.
  • Manage contractors.
Requirements

  • Served a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent (must hold Level 3 qualification with satisfactory Guided Learning Hours).
  • Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
  • Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
  • Experience in interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings.
  • Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters.
  • Experience of sortation machines.
  • Experience of print and apply machines.
  • Experience in fault finding on building equipment i.e HVAC, Dock Doors, plumbing and general building maintenance tasks.
