About the Job

As a key member of the Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering team, you will play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing technologies within the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network.

Your primary focus will be on planned preventative maintenance, proactively addressing and resolving issues to ensure the availability and quality of equipment. This will involve working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging your technical expertise to drive results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize health and safety best practices in all work carried out, ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety standards and regulations.

• Conduct planned preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment within the site, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge to optimize performance.

• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns, communicate effectively with affected teams, and work efficiently to resolve issues.

• Support and learn from senior reliability engineering technicians, expanding your skill set and expertise.

• Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring seamless execution of maintenance tasks.

Requirements

• Possess a full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification (must hold Level 3 qualification with satisfactory Guided Learning Hours).

• Demonstrate multi-skilled expertise in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.

• Experience with planned preventative maintenance systems and the ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.

• Proven experience in conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters, sortation machines, print and apply machines, and fault finding on building equipment (HVAC, Dock Doors, plumbing, and general building maintenance tasks).
