Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician

Key Responsibilities

As a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician at ENGINEERINGUK, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & Delivery Network. Your primary focus will be on planned preventative maintenance, mitigating risks by proactively addressing and resolving issues. This will involve raising the availability and quality of equipment, ensuring compliance with health & safety standards and regulations.

Key job responsibilities include:

• Putting health & safety best practices first in all work carried out

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance on a full range of equipment within the site

• Reacting quickly to breakdowns, communicating clearly with affected teams, and working efficiently to fix the issue

• Supporting and learning from Senior Reliability Engineering Technicians

• Managing contractors

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A full engineering indentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or equivalent

• Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines

• Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems

• Experience in interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings

• Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters

• Experience of sortation machines

• Experience of print and apply machines

• Experience in fault finding on building equipment, i.e., HVAC, Dock Doors, plumbing, and general building maintenance tasks
