About the Role:

Transform Lives as a Support Worker for Women with Learning Disabilities

Advance is seeking a highly motivated and caring Support Worker to join our team in Gosport, Hampshire. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to our female customers with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Administer medication as required
  • Support with preparing and cooking meals, including shopping and meal planning
  • Accompany customers to medical appointments and social activities
  • Support with independent skills, such as budgeting and time management
  • Assist with domestic duties, including cleaning and laundry
  • Keep accurate records and update care plans as required
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and mental health conditions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to travel to different locations as required
