Advance is seeking a dedicated Female Specialist Care Worker in the Gosport area to join our new service.

As a Female Specialist Care Worker, you will assist our clients with complex needs, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives. We provide comprehensive training and support to help you excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care and hygiene as needed
- Administering medication when required
- Helping with meal preparation and cooking
- Accompanying clients to medical appointments
- Facilitating social activities
- Supporting the development of independent living skills
- Assisting with household tasks such as cleaning and laundry
- Maintaining accurate records and updating care plans as necessary
- Engaging in ongoing training and professional development

Candidate Profile:
We are looking for individuals who are driven by their values and have a genuine desire to enhance the lives of those with autism or learning disabilities.
To be successful in the Female Specialist Care Worker role, you should:
- Be capable of adapting to clients' changing support needs and developing personalized care plans
- Deliver care in accordance with co-produced plans, fostering meaningful relationships with clients and their support networks
- Be prepared to work with clients exhibiting challenging behaviors, ensuring their safety and well-being
- Take initiative in monitoring and assessing clients' health and behavioral needs
- Serve as a role model and mentor to colleagues, demonstrating high standards of care
- Identify and address potential risks to client safety and service effectiveness
- Possess strong literacy and numeracy skills in English
- Be willing to achieve the Adult Care Worker Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Have a minimum of one year of relevant experience in Learning Disabilities, Autism, or Mental Health Services
- Work effectively as part of a team
