As a Female Specialist Support Worker, you will be instrumental in assisting our clients to achieve their personal goals and enhance their independence. Advance will equip you with the necessary training and resources to excel in this position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing personal care and hygiene support as needed
  • Administering medication when required
  • Assisting with meal preparation and cooking
  • Accompanying clients to medical appointments
  • Facilitating social activities and community engagement
  • Supporting the development of independent living skills
  • Managing domestic tasks such as cleaning and laundry
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating care plans
  • Engaging in ongoing training and professional development

Candidate Profile:

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Be capable of adapting to the evolving support needs of clients and creating personalized care plans
  • Deliver care in accordance with co-produced plans, fostering meaningful relationships with clients and their support networks
  • Be prepared to support clients exhibiting challenging behaviors, ensuring safety and well-being
  • Monitor and evaluate clients' health and behavioral needs
  • Serve as a role model and mentor, demonstrating high standards of care
  • Identify and address any risks that may impact client safety or service delivery
  • Possess strong literacy and numeracy skills in English
  • Be willing to pursue the Adult Care Worker Level 3 qualification or equivalent
  • Have a minimum of one year of relevant experience in Learning Disabilities, Autism, or Mental Health Services
  • Work effectively as part of a team
