We are currently seeking a Community Care Specialist to join our team in Cumnock, Scotland. As a key member of our support staff, you will work closely with service users to provide tailored care and support.

This is a 35 hour per week post that requires a valid driving license and access to your own car. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, providing support with daily tasks such as household chores, personal care, and social activities.

The salary for this position is £20,000 - £22,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and support, we would love to hear from you

Key responsibilities:

  • Social Support - Assist individuals to engage with their communities by planning and attending outings to various leisure activities such as day centres, cinema, swimming etc.
  • Personal Care - Assist people to maintain their wellbeing by promoting their personal care which would include assistance with bathing, dressing, arranging visits with the dentist/doctor, incontinence care.
  • Practical Support - Help people to maintain their tenancy by encouraging daily household tasks such as general housework, laundry, ironing, cooking, shopping.
