Clinical Practitioner in Residential Care

Pebbles Care Limited is a leading provider of residential child care for vulnerable young people between the ages of 8 and 18. We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Practitioner in Residential Care to join our team and work with us to deliver bespoke therapeutic care and education to our residents.
The successful candidate will have a Doctorate in Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychology and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). They will have post-doctoral knowledge of applied psychology, including the impact of developmental trauma and adverse childhood experiences on life trajectories.
The salary for this role is approximately £52,000-£68,000 per annum, depending on experience, and includes a monthly car allowance, 28 days of holiday per year, auto-enrolment into the company pension scheme, and other excellent benefits.
Main Responsibilities
- To provide specialist psychological input and undertake comprehensive psychological assessments of children and young people.
- To provide a specialist psychological perspective regarding children referred to Pebbles Care.
- To undertake psychologically based risk assessment and risk management and provide advice on the psychological aspects of risk management to practice teams.
