Development Project Lead

Cambridge City Council is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join its high-performing Development team in the Economy and Place Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for project managing new build development schemes, reviewing capital assets as part of the Council's strategic asset management plan, and ensuring scheme cost, quality, and programme are monitored and maintained.
About You
We are looking for an experienced professional with a passion for housing development and delivering high-quality sustainable buildings. You should have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to play a key role in delivering the development programme, and have experience in development, surveying, or project management. Additionally, you should be committed to developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements
This is a full-time role requiring 37 hours per week, typically working 8-4/9-5 with some limited evening work. The salary for this position is £45,718 - £50,788 per annum (City Pay Band 7). Owing to the nature of this position, you will need to be able to travel across the city by car or bicycle.
