About Us

Cambridge City Council is one of the largest council house builders in the country, renowned for its commitment to delivering high-quality sustainable buildings for its residents. Our Development team plays a crucial role in achieving this goal, and we are now seeking a skilled project manager to join our ranks.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing new build development schemes, working closely with Hill and Council teams to ensure successful delivery. Your expertise will help us achieve our ambitious target of developing 2,400 homes over the next 5 years.

The ideal candidate will have experience in development, surveying, or project management and a passion for housing development. They will be able to demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £50,000 per annum, plus benefits such as flexible working arrangements and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee multiple development schemes simultaneously, ensuring cost, quality, and programme are met.
  • Support the council's strategic asset management plan by identifying suitable assets for investment and regeneration.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
