About the Role
Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for housing development and delivering high-quality sustainable buildings?
We are seeking a Project Manager - Development to join our team at Cambridge City Council, playing a key role in delivering our ambitious development programme.
The successful candidate will have experience in project managing new build development schemes, reviewing capital assets, and ensuring scheme cost, quality, and programme are monitored and maintained. They will also be involved in residential, hybrid residential-commercial, commercial, and community building development schemes.
As part of our team, you will provide accurate and informative presentations and reports for council colleagues, councillors, and other stakeholders as required. You will also support the Hill pre-construction and technical teams undertaking due diligence on both council-owned land and new acquisitions.
About You
We are looking for an individual with experience in development, surveying, or project management, passionate about housing development, and committed to developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders. In return, we offer a competitive salary of £46,715-£51,671 per annum (City Pay Band 7), plus benefits including a generous annual leave allowance, access to the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS), and a variety of learning and development opportunities.
