We have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Assistant to join our team and work closely with an 11-year-old boy who has autism, ADHD, and Sensory Processing Disorder.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will provide one-to-one support to the young boy in his daily activities, encouraging him to engage in his interests and develop a strong, supportive relationship.

Main Duties
  • Offer tailored support to the young boy in his daily routine
  • Promote his interests, such as gaming, to enhance his engagement and enjoyment
  • Nurture a secure and supportive bond with the child
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A caring and patient approach
  • Experience working with children with special needs
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
Working Arrangements and Compensation

The successful candidate will be expected to work approximately 4 hours per week, with the exact schedule to be discussed at interview. The estimated hourly rate for this position is £11.44.

Location

The role will be based locally in the HU7 area surrounding Hull.
