Education Intervention Specialist

Job Description:
EdEx – Education Recruitment is partnering with a leading secondary school in Islington to find a talented Secondary Academic Support Assistant. This is an excellent chance for a graduate to launch their teaching career.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will lead intervention sessions for targeted students, both within and outside the classroom. They will also support class teachers across a range of subjects and age groups.
Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored support to students who need extra help
- Collaborating with teachers to enhance student learning
- $45,600 - $47,200 per annum (pro rata), depending on experience
- Full-time position, term-time only
- Start as soon as possible
- Working in a modern, well-equipped school with a dedicated team
- A cycle-to-work scheme and on-site parking available
- Based in the heart of Islington
Requirements:
We are looking for someone with a degree from a top university, a strong desire to teach, and excellent communication skills.
