About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Recovery and Engagement Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering effective engagement, harm reduction, and recovery-focused interventions to service users in both community and prison settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including SMART Recovery and Foundations of Recovery, to support service users in achieving their recovery goals.
  • Provide structured group work and one-to-one support to clients, using a range of techniques to promote engagement and motivation.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless referrals and transitions between services, ensuring that service users receive comprehensive support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organizations to promote the work of Change Grow Live and enhance service user engagement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service user feedback and peer initiatives, ensuring that the voice of the service user is at the heart of our work.

About You:

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of drug and alcohol issues, as well as experience of working in the criminal justice or related field. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders, including service users, colleagues, and external agencies.
