About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Recovery and Engagement Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering effective engagement, harm reduction, and recovery-focused interventions to service users in both community and prison settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, including SMART Recovery and Foundations of Recovery, to support service users in achieving their recovery goals.
  • Provide structured group work and one-to-one support to clients, using a range of techniques to promote engagement and motivation.
  • Work closely with colleagues and external agencies to ensure seamless referrals and transitions between services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with service users, their families, and other stakeholders to promote social inclusion and maximize engagement.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with best practice and meet the needs of service users.
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.

About You:

We are looking for an individual with a strong understanding of drug and alcohol issues, as well as experience of working in the criminal justice or related field. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.

  • Enhanced DBS check and police vetting.
