Workplace Health Promotion and Engagement Specialist

This exciting new position requires a skilled professional to develop and implement Workplace Wellbeing initiatives and sporting events/activities to promote physical activity and health within the workplace.
Working closely with the Essex Working Well Manager and Workplace Health Event Outreach Coordinator, you will be responsible for mapping and identifying key businesses and localities across Essex, capturing insight into their workplace wellbeing needs, and supporting the development of a comprehensive wellbeing strategy.
You will also be responsible for promoting Essex Working Well and attending workplace networking events, developing communications to aid promotion and strengthen the Essex Working Well presence on social media, and providing input and support to other team members to promote the service and evaluate Working Well programmes, events, and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Liaise with the Working Well Manager to ensure efficient and effective allocation of MDT resources using an asset-based approach
- Support the Working Well Manager and Workplace Health Events Outreach Coordinator to map and identify key businesses and localities across Essex and capture insight about their workplace wellbeing needs
- Support the ongoing calendar of Workplace Wellbeing Events and setting up sporting events/activities or physical activity initiatives with a range of partner organisations to promote and increase access to Working Well, Essex Wellbeing Service, and other partner services
- Promote Essex Working Well and attend a range of workplace networking events
- Develop communications to aid promotion and strengthen the Essex Working Well presence on social media and with multi-disciplinary partners
- Provide input and support to other members of the team to promote the service and evaluate Working Well programmes, events, and initiatives
- Maintain accurate workflow data to ensure relevant evidence and information is captured to ensure effective reporting outcomes for Essex Working Well and wider Essex Wellbeing Service for ECC
- Degree/NVQ L6 or demonstrable experience in public health/health improvement/behaviour change/workplace health/business project management/community development
- Experience of event planning and management, including sports, and managing multiple caseloads/multi-agency working, confident delivering presentations at networking or business meetings
- Comms and marketing experience (including Social Media)
- Ability to analyse and interpret data, building good relationships with customers, solution-focused attitude
- Demonstrable understanding of health inequalities and public health issues affecting the local community
- Demonstrable experience of a wide range of applications, including Microsoft Office
