Workplace Health Promotion and Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Workplace Health Promotion and Engagement Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading health and social care provider, Provide CIC, to promote workplace wellbeing and support the health and productivity of the Essex workforce.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement workplace wellbeing initiatives and sporting events to promote physical activity and health awareness.
- Work closely with the Working Well Manager and Workplace Health Event Outreach Coordinator to develop and oversee the day-to-day running of the business parks programme.
- Organize and deliver presentations at networking and business meetings to promote the Working Well offer and engagement across Essex.
- Support the ongoing calendar of Workplace Wellbeing Events and set up sporting events or physical activity initiatives with partner organizations.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders and community groups.
- Provide input and support to other members of the team to promote the service and evaluate Working Well programmes, events, and initiatives.
- Maintain accurate workflow data to ensure relevant evidence and information is captured to inform effective reporting outcomes for Essex Working Well and wider Essex Wellbeing Service.
- Degree or NVQ Level 6 in a relevant field, such as public health, health improvement, behaviour change, or business project management.
- Experience of event planning and management, including sports events, and managing multiple caseloads and multi-agency working.
- Excellent project management, social media communication, and IT skills, with experience of using a wide range of software packages.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data, build good relationships with customers, and demonstrate a solution-focused attitude.
- Demonstrable understanding of health inequalities and public health issues affecting the local community.
- Ability and willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends, and travel throughout Essex.
