Primal Cut Operations Manager

With Pilgrims Europe, we are seeking a skilled Chargehand to join our Primal Cut Department in Westerleigh.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 07:00 – 16:45
Main Responsibilities:
- Motivate team members to produce high-quality products.
- Maintain production standards and ensure they meet efficiency targets.
- Ensure all relevant paperwork is accurate and completed on time.
- Quickly resolve machine issues and advise the Engineering Department on required work.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
- Assist with audits and inspections in the department.
- Carry out regular equipment checks and report any maintenance requirements or recommendations for improvement.
- Record bonus and overtime payments accurately.
Necessary Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of run rates, yields, and good manufacturing practices.
- Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience working with food production machinery.
- Health & Safety awareness.
- COSHH awareness.
A successful candidate will possess a 'can-do' attitude and be able to handle working in a fast-paced environment.
