Patient Services Administrator Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Patient Services Administrator to join our team at Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital. As a key member of our administrative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our patient services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate patient appointments, ensuring accurate and timely communication with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient enquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work closely with our radiology team to arrange appointments and distribute reports to referrers.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, using our radiology software systems to ensure high levels of data accuracy.
  • Provide administrative support to our healthcare team, including diary management and secretarial services.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a healthcare administration role, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in the use of radiology software systems and other administrative tools.
