Manufacturing Research Specialist

Are you looking for a challenging role in the biotechnology sector? We have an exciting opportunity for a Scientist in gene manufacturing to join our innovative team at Taylorollinson in Cambridge.
Location: Cambridge
Sector: Biotechnology
Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per annum
This is a full-time, permanent position that requires experience with downstream manufacturing processes within a biotech setting. As a member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for DNA/gene manufacturing projects in a cleanroom environment.
The successful candidate will have at least 6 months' experience working in a cleanroom environment in a biotech/R&D/industry setting and be happy to commute/relocate to Cambridge.
About the Role:
- Performing downstream processing and chromatography experiments
- Assisting with housekeeping tasks, including environmental monitoring, media prep, and equipment maintenance
- Handling of QMS documentation & creating/updating SOPs
