Key Responsibilities

  • Managing a diverse client portfolio, ensuring workflow, deadlines, and budgets are met
  • Facilitating the efficient operation of the team, reviewing outputs, providing training, and delivering constructive feedback
  • Planning and executing assignments, aiming for excellence in service delivery
  • Monitoring team performance and tracking key performance indicators
  • Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations while closely managing deadlines
  • Utilizing software tools such as IRIS, Sage, Xero, and Quickbooks
  • Contributing to the firm's growth by maintaining existing client relationships and developing new ones
  • Building long-lasting client relationships and proactively addressing inquiries
  • Reviewing and enhancing processes for more efficient service delivery
  • Setting a positive example for junior staff as a hands-on manager

The Successful Candidate

  • ACA / ACCA qualified or part-qualified
  • A minimum of five years' post-qualification experience
  • Qualified by experience will also be considered
  • A demonstrated history of managing a client portfolio within a practice setting
  • Excellent IT proficiency, with a quick adaptability to new technologies
  • Previous experience in team leadership, work review, and mentorship
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Professional, dependable, and eager to advance within the firm
  • Self-driven and highly organized, capable of meeting deadlines
  • A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving
  • Analytically minded with strong business acumen
