About the Role

We are offering a 4-year PhD studentship covering Maintenance fees at £21,500 per annum and the University Composition Fee. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across two sites: the Department of PDN at the University of Cambridge and the AstraZeneca Discovery Centre.

The role involves working on a collaborative project with a focus on understanding the mechanisms of electrical signalling in neuroendocrine cancer cells. You will have access to state-of-the-art electrophysiological and imaging techniques and will be expected to contribute to the development of new treatment strategies for these aggressive NE tumours.
