Income Recovery Specialist

Ackerman Pierce is seeking an experienced Income Officer to provide effective customer-focused support to users of the Income Control team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recovering all debts in accordance with the council's procedures, working closely with other officers to provide professional management of the Council's commercial and voluntary sector properties, and high-quality valuations and property-related advice.
Key Responsibilities:- Recover all service charge income, including debts and arrears, in accordance with the council's procedures.
- Monitor service charge accounts and take necessary action for debt recovery.
- Resolve all enquiries relating to service charge accounts, including preparation of repairs listings.
- Submit cases for judgment and monitor progress.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of income advice and experience in housing, with the ability to quickly adapt to the team's way of working and hit the ground running. The team manager will provide support and guidance to ensure a smooth transition.
