About the Role
The Facilities Management Team at Lancashire County Council is seeking a skilled Cleaning Operative to join their team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at Preston Bus Station.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general cleaning duties, including damp wiping, damp mopping, vacuuming, and toilet cleaning.
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure the station is clean and tidy at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the Facilities Management Team.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a cleaning or maintenance role is desirable, but full training and ongoing support will be provided.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including Sundays.
- High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
