Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Extraction Cleaning and Maintenance Operations Manager to oversee and lead our cleaning, servicing, and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial cleaning, particularly within extraction systems, and a proven track record in operations management. This role requires excellent leadership, organizational, and technical skills to ensure our services meet client requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the extraction cleaning and maintenance teams, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of technicians and support staff, fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Client Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, timely service delivery, and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Scheduling and Planning: Develop and manage work schedules, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. Coordinate with clients to minimize disruptions to their operations.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Implement and enforce safety protocols and conduct regular safety audits.
- Quality Control: Oversee quality control processes to ensure all cleaning and maintenance activities meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Resource Management: Manage the allocation and use of resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all operations, including job logs, maintenance reports, and safety inspections. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, implementing best practices across the operations.
- Technical Expertise: Stay updated on the latest technologies and methodologies in extraction cleaning and maintenance, ensuring the team is trained and equipped to deliver the highest quality service.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years' experience in industrial cleaning, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in extraction systems maintenance.
- Education: A relevant degree or certification in engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficient in the use of relevant software and tools for scheduling and reporting.
- Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of extraction systems, industrial cleaning techniques, and health and safety regulations.
- Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
- Other: A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various client sites as required.
