About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Specialist to join our team at Baxter Freight Limited. As an IT Support Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems and providing exceptional support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity
  • Maintain accurate records of issues, solutions, and progress on tasks in our IT system
  • Liaise with third-party IT service providers to ensure timely delivery of services and resolve escalated issues
  • Collaborate with the IT team to identify and implement process improvements and new technologies
  • Provide support for both in-office and remote employees, ensuring they have the necessary tools and access to stay productive
  • Escalate issues to the Head of IT or third-party providers as needed
  • On-board and off-board employees as required from an IT perspective
  • Ensure Anti-Virus software is maintained and up to date
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT support or a related field
  • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and network connectivity
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with CRM systems, such as Salesforce, is an advantage
