We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Specialist Mentor to join our team at Beacon Support Ltd. The successful candidate will provide one-to-one support to students with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) in their higher education studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist students in developing coping strategies and techniques to overcome disability-related difficulties
  • Provide highly specialized support to students with ASC, reflecting the hourly rate usually awarded for this type of support
  • Work collaboratively with students, staff, and other professionals to ensure effective support and inclusion
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of students
  • Experience working with students in higher or further education
  • Relevant degree or postgraduate certification in Autism or Disability
  • Training in NAS 6 modules and NADP Working Effectively with Autistic University Students course
