Make a Difference in the Lives of Autistic Individuals

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Autism Practitioner to join our team at Autismo East Midlands. As an Autism Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting autistic individuals with a variety of activities that they enjoy, promoting independent living skills, and providing holistic support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support autistic individuals with daily activities, such as personal care, medication administration, and integration into the local community.
  • Encourage independent living skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and managing finances.
  • Provide emotional support and manage anxieties, which may be communicated through distressing behavior.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to develop and implement personalized support plans.

Requirements:
  • No experience necessary, as full training is provided.
