**Job Summary**

We are looking for a highly skilled Consultant in Emergency Medicine to join Triple West Medical's successful A&E department. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and leading the development of our Urgent and Emergency Care Centre services.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain high clinical standards in the assessment and treatment of patients.
  2. Regularly teach medical staff, nurses, ENPs, ACPs, and medical students attached to the department.
  3. Participate in medical and clinical audit, contributing to improved patient care.
  4. Clinical care of patients admitted to the Clinical Observation and Decision Unit.

In addition, the trust will ask you to:

  1. Carry out teaching duties as required and contribute to postgraduate training and continuing medical education activities.
  2. Supervise, appraise, and manage junior medical staff.
  3. Closely communicate with local General Practitioners about individual cases and the appropriate use of the department.
  4. Liaise with outside agencies regarding training, patient care, and Major Incident Procedures.

Salary:**£145,000 - £195,000 per annum**, depending on experience. **Location:**East England. **Contract Type:**Substantive or Fixed Term basis for 12 months.
